ABOUT:

West Cornwall Legal Advice Centre, based out of Trelya, is Penzance’s first independent free Legal Advice Clinic. We are providing initial assistance and assessment and where appropriate practical support towards representation.

 

The clinic plans to address legal issues such as family law, domestic violence, housing, landlord-tenant disputes, neighbour and boundary disputes, inheritance and probate matters and small contracts.

 

By providing free legal advice WCLAC addresses inequality, ensuring community members access essential legal support that they could otherwise not afford.

It has been driven forward by Barrister John Gallagher of Gatehouse Chambers in London.

HOW TO GET AN APPOINTMENT:

You can drop into our center on Thursday, or we can arrange an appointment via email. We advise that you book ahead via email, as we cannot guarantee appointments on the night. Please bear in mind that we have high demand, so there might be a waitlist.
